My 11 year old absolutely loved his tennis class here (and we will be back for more). Chelsea is super helpful and answered my million and one questions - checked us in quickly even though we were a little late and got my kiddo to the right court right away. Very nice staff. The junior coach connects well with the kids and keeps it entertaining. Def recommend for the junior tennis program.

Coach Mike is an incredible coach for young aspiring tennis players! So happy with the progress my 5 year old is making on the court!

Completely transparent, I had an incident happen to me, which I don’t agree with at this club, based on untrained staff. They are a great place, with hard working folks and you can play tennis, Padel, pickleball, on-site gym, separately for ladies and Gentleman. The manager, Steph runs a great unit and you have locals like Barbara Maam, always being helpful to patrons! In life, you gotta move on and not dwell on the past 😇

The Polo Tennis and Fitness Club is a beautiful place! From the picturesque drive onto the grounds to the rolling hills and horses running along the fields, it’s incredible. The tennis facilities are in great condition and the club house is modern with all the equipment anyone would need. Additionally, they have brand new Pickleball and Padel courts that are in amazing condition. The Director Mike and GM Steph are super helpful and knowledgeable. This place is a hidden gem!!!

What activities can you enjoy at Dripping Springs Racquet Club? This club prides itself on offering a variety of racquet sports that appeal to a broad audience. Primarily, there are tennis courts designed to accommodate players of all abilities, from beginners to advanced competitors. Tennis remains a classic choice for groups who appreciate strategic play and fast-paced action. Beyond tennis, the club uniquely features pickleball courts, a rapidly growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, making it accessible and highly social. Pickleball courts here allow groups to experiment with this engaging sport that’s perfect for casual or competitive play. Another distinctive offering is their padel courts; padel is a thrilling racquet sport that blends tennis and squash, encouraging dynamic ball rallies and strategic teamwork. This variety ensures that meetups can be tailored to your group’s preferences or allow everyone to try something new together. For those who prefer non-racquet activities, the fitness center offers a well-equipped space to work out and stay healthy, while the architecturally unique three-level swimming pool — complete with a rock waterfall — provides a scenic setting for relaxation and socializing after sport.
Why is the Dripping Springs Racquet Club perfect for group meetups? First, the club’s comprehensive facility caters perfectly to groups looking for an active and social environment. The combination of multiple sports courts, a fitness center, and a spacious swimming pool means that people with different interests can find something enjoyable to do concurrently, averting the common challenge of mixed-activity group outings where not everyone’s preferences align. Additionally, the well-trained, welcoming staff contribute significantly to the club’s friendly atmosphere, focused on making every visitor’s day fulfilling — this helps facilitate a sense of belonging, encouraging guests to return again and again. The location, just behind the main clubhouse, brings all these amenities into close proximity, promoting ease of movement and interaction within the group. Facilities like showers and changing rooms enhance convenience, allowing members to plan their day without worry. Importantly, whether the meetup is a casual gathering to enjoy a friendly game or an organized group event or tournament, the club’s infrastructure and service quality support smooth planning and execution.
How does the tennis experience at Dripping Springs Racquet Club enhance meetups? Tennis is a focal point of the club, offering well-maintained courts that provide the ideal surface and environment for rallies, matches, and drills. The courts accommodate singles and doubles play, which means groups can split into teams, rotating players to keep everyone engaged and active. For groups of various skill levels, the club can offer coaching sessions or casual play, ensuring that whether you’re developing your game or just hitting the ball around, the setting is enjoyable and motivating. The social nature of tennis, combined with the club’s atmosphere, encourages communication, teamwork, and friendly competition—perfect for bonding with friends or family. Moreover, clinics such as “Live Ball Workouts” are available, providing structured opportunities to improve skills together, fostering growth as a group and enhancing collective enjoyment of the sport.
What makes pickleball and padel standout features for group activities? Pickleball courts at the club cater to the swelling popularity of this sociable sport, which is particularly engaging for groups because of its accessibility and fast learning curve. Culturally, pickleball’s rise has been driven by its appeal across age groups, making it an ideal choice for mixed-age family or friend groups seeking inclusive fun. The smaller court dimensions and lightweight paddles make the rallies quick, keeping adrenaline high and providing ample opportunity for interaction and laughter. Similarly, the club’s padel courts offer a fresh twist on racquet sports, delighting groups ready to try something less common but equally engaging. Padel’s combination of walls and open court invites creative play and teamwork, which naturally cultivates a lively group dynamic. Together, these sports expand the club’s appeal beyond traditional tennis enthusiasts, facilitating a broader scope of group enjoyment and energy.
How do the fitness and swimming facilities complement social gatherings? The club understands that not everyone in a group may want to engage in racquet sports continuously. That’s where the fitness center and the stunning swimming pool come into play. The fitness center provides a space for individuals who want to focus on cardiovascular workouts, strength training, or flexibility exercises, ensuring your group can maintain varied fitness interests without splitting up geographically. The three-level pool, enhanced with a scenic rock waterfall and continuous water circulation, offers a serene yet fun environment for cooling down, relaxing, or socializing poolside. This aquatic feature is ideal for family groups with children or friends wanting a leisurely swim or poolside chat after sports sessions. By integrating these wellness amenities, the Dripping Springs Racquet Club accommodates diverse energy levels and preferences, making it easier to host meetups that are inclusive and enjoyable for all participants.
