I had a fantastic experience placing an order for my guitar at Dusty Strings. Brian was incredibly helpful and responsive during emails. The shop is beautiful and full of high quality instruments, and the staff is super welcoming. I highly recommend you purchase your next guitar (or harp or dulcimer) there!

Super impressed with the quality of services and product at Dusty Strings. I recommended DS to a friend who had set out to purchase his first "quality" steel string. Jed and Steve did not disappoint. Knowledgeable and friendly guys that gave my friend a wonderful, curated experience. Despite his original thinking that he wouldn't, he ended up buying his first guitar then and there. His brother from out of town was also there with us and as a long time player himself, was really impressed with the knowledge of the staff and the quality of the instruments available. I hadn't planned to buy I'll probably be back in 6 months to buy from them as well!

Great place full of interesting musical instruments and literature. Nice staff, very accommodating. The store is down a long stairway so if you have a walking disability it might be difficult or impossible. The store itself is right out of the late '60's with a real "hip" atmosphere including a hanging dulcimer that is strummed melodically by a pick mounted on the top of the door frame. The walls are hung with guitars and banjos, etc. Very cool place - a "must visit".

Had some really fun time here today at dusty strings. A huge range of musical instruments and the guitars are out of this world! Carrying ranges from the Taylors to the Collins. The ukuleles are also amazing. A colleague got a Romero collection, solid spruce top for les than $400. Awesome purchase!

Popped in to browse for gifts for my guitar playing husband. Dusty Springs is the go-to store for a brother in law who collects guitars and has a climate controlled room for said guitars. So basically the place to visit for any string instrument person in the area. I asked the helpful staff for recommendations and got several stocking stuffers for the hubby and a sign up for guitar lessons for the kiddo. Thinking of maybe getting a ukulele and signing up for lessons myself. Highly recommend.
