I have worked at a local rink for years (decades) and always have recommended DW’s but recently purchased my first new skates in a while. They were sharpened at the store where I purchased them but when I went out to skate I felt like a beginner again. I couldn’t figure it out but I assumed I needed them contoured. I dropped them off with John and a few hours later I felt the magic he can do. When I got on the ice I could skate again. John’s knowledge is worth the cost. I shared this story with a friend who had experienced a similar predicament. I think he will be stopping by soon. He was ready to sell his new skates cheap because he couldn’t skate on them but I think he will be the next satisfied customer. Keep up the good work!
