TL;DR the same tools are used across multiple clients without sanitation in between. The low price isn’t worth health risks. I started coming here occasionally in 2023 on recommendation from a friend. It was a fine no nonsense pedicure at a competitive price. It was a bit of the luck of the draw in which artist you got as far as skill and attention and the language barrier. I’ve returned a few times for pedicures this summer and am not sure if things changed or if I just didn’t notice before. On the most recent visit my toe was cut by the foot file (cheese grater?). I should have left at that point but I was going on vacation and didn’t have time to find another place for the service. They finished the pedicure leaving sharp corners on my toenails. After that I had a manicure. Each hand was done by a different person. The first was more skilled. The second took all of my length off without asking and the shapes were haphazard. I asked her to correct it a couple of times and when she still didn’t get it right, I did it myself while she stepped away to grab another box of tools. This box had all kinds of nail dust in it and that was all over the tools. Read: they aren’t cleaning these things between clients. My gel polish is just okay - there are some bubbles and jagged edges at the nail tips. The cuticle side started lifting about 5 days in. Note this is just one color, no nail art. Should be pretty easy to do well. After all that they still charged me full price. Like I said, I should have left after the cut. I didn’t argue with the price, just wanted to get out and be done with this place.

I have been going to Eagle nails for more than a year and I am very happy with my nails. I especially recommend Maiko and Kate. They are not only good at what they do but also very friendly. They both do their best for me to leave happy every time. Here are two photos of my nails. I used burgundy nails for 6 weeks with no broken nails and got the sparkly ombres today. Kate did both of them.

I was recommended to Kate, and I’m so glad I was — she was absolutely awesome! Kate was very professional, friendly, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the whole appointment. She took her time, paid close attention to detail, and made sure I was happy with everything every step of the way. My nails turned out beautiful, and I’ve already gotten so many compliments on them!
