Earwig is a great, beautiful and comfortable studio but the real magic is with the people who work there and run it. Both tracking with Jen Gilleran and mixing with Don Farwell were very great experiences for my bandmates and I. While both were completely professional, it was much more like working and hanging with good friends. These things can get stressful and challenging and they know how to help keep perspective on things as well as when to push and when it's time for levity. Earwig Studio has a unique, and special quality. There's a very professional atmosphere inside the studio, yet it also brings a comfortable and creative vibe. They've succeeded in building a top of the line studio, designing rooms that have that rare special sound to recordings, and having high quality equipment. I've had multiple experiences working with Don at Earwig Studio. Each one was an incredible experience in their own way, and in each session I felt like Don brought out the best in me, amd the artists i was working with. Even in times that I hit the creative wall, Don provided suggestions and creative ways to overcome challenges. I recommend Earwig to a ton of artists and bands that I come across that's looking to record their music, and capture their sound in its best quality. 5 stars feels like it doesn't do Earwing Studio the rating it truly deserves.
