Great hike, that I found to be generally moderate, although a few areas could be considered moderate - streneous, due to the terrain and based on one's mobility. Clean trail...litter free but many downed trees along the path. I would definitely suggest wearing proper footwear as you may encounter tree trunks, tree roots, rocks, a few "stairs", small streams, and large puddles to cross or navigate, depending on which trails you take. During my hiking experience, I especially enjoyed the beautiful views, the tree canopies during a brief afternoon rain, the walk along the Chattahoochee, and the beautiful bamboo forest.

Love this place! There are a few different trails and the one that goes all the way north along the water takes you to the bamboo forest. My dog always loved coming here. Great place to come that’s inside the perimeter.

My son and I were staying across the street at the Even Hotel and decided to explore the nearby trails- ended up finding this hidden gem tucked away in nature. The views are absolutely stunning! There’s a nice, wide paved path that loops around, and for those looking for more of a workout, there are some steep off-path trails that really kick things up a notch. Just a heads-up: those trails aren’t for the faint of heart, so be ready if you take them on. My son definitely got the challenge he needed-no complaints here!

A great outdoor hike with winding paths and well-maintained dirt trails. The area offers a peaceful, scenic escape with a mix of forest, river views, and moderate elevation changes. Ideal for nature lovers looking for a solid workout without feeling overly strenuous. Lots of unleashed dogs as its a regular daily walk for many locals.

The shortest path to the bamboo forest (the best part, all the way to the back of the place) is to take nothing but lefts, following the river upstream as closely as possible. It is a moderately difficult hike at times, at one point our choice was to walk across a large fallen log or to jump from rock to rock across a small stream, but that trail is one of a dozen that intersect with each other frequently enough to make course corrections easy. Dog friendly, so bring your pooch, but don't bring your bike because there are no biking trails. Had a great time here on a crowded Easter morning but parking is definitely limited so get there early if it's going to be a high-volume day.
