I participated in ESPS’s soda workshop. Scott was easy going, professional, and an excellent teacher. Our class had every level of experience, and everyone left happy with their results. I highly recommend this studio.

No better people, no better place. I was a full novice going into my first beginner class with Ryan. It didn’t matter. It was so relaxing and chill and fun. Life has a way of disrupting things, so after several repeat sessions, I had to take a break, but I’ll be back. Thanks for an amazing experience ESPS!

East Side Pot Shop is truly the best. Scott, Rebecca, Chowder + co are so supportive, knowledgable, and have done an incredible job creating a safe space to learn and make. They offer different class types depending on your skill set, so it's perfect for folks all along the spectrum-- from those starting their journey to those with years of experience. They have so many tools and an UNREAL selection of glazes and washes available. The sky is the limit for creating. If on the (extremely rare) occasion they don't have something you need, you can pop right over to Armadillo Clay to buy it. The variety and quality of work from other students is also so inspiring. The vibes of the outside space are so relaxing and delightful. I can't say enough good things. I'm so thankful for this space.

This is such an amazing pottery studio. Scott, Ryan, Rebecca, and Keegan create such an amazing experience, from learning the basics, to getting support for getting the desired shape and color, to receiving direction in developing an esthetic. They incorporate a superb mix of formal instruction, a watchful eye to help when in need, excellent feedback to improve the next piece, and copious hours for practice and experimentation. The members of this studio made throwing such an amazing experience and have sparked a passion for pottery I’m continuing. What an amazing part of Austin this studio and you all are. I’m so appreciative to have been able to start my pottery journey here. Would recommend even to my enemies! Thanks again Scott and Ryan!!!
