Came here while visiting from Colorado. I really enjoyed this course. The trees make the course difficult but doable. Greens were in perfect condition, tee boxes could use some love. Tons of geese so there is a lot of poop! Nice long par 5’s. Nice staff and facilities. Friendly creatures on the course too! Would go back!

My favorite city owned golf course. A good mix of holes and challenges, lots of water hazards on the back nine, fairly well maintained (except for the sand traps), and the course staff is always nice. The restaurant is standard but they pour stiff drinks and have a great patio to sit at after a round. The grounds can get pretty soggy during the spring season so be prepared for some mud through April.

Back 9 is a must try. Absolutely gorgeous. Only down side is the railway and homeless.

One of the best looking courses in the area. The back 9 were definitely more challenging. Lots of trees and bushes so if you’re a slicer bring extra balls.

Very beautiful 18 holes, located like in a large park. The second 9 much more challenging. Walk-ins welcome, I decided spontaneously and rented everything. Super-friendly staff in the shop. Very good rental clubs, I chose the better version for 35 USD. Excellent putter! Tee time can be booked online only (3USD), which is a bit of a drawback. I booked for 10am for myself only. They found the booking in the shop and I paid on site. Only at tee #1, I realised (actually was reminded by a staff member when I was about to start off slightly before 10am) that there were other players booked on the same tee-time. So we ended up as a flight of 4 persons. Fully ok but I would have appreciated if someone had told me before. Hot day after a long drought, so some dry patches, but not hampering the playing. Rented golf bag only to be put loosely on top of rented cart did not hold well. :-( Strangely, on the second 9, you need to leave the court and walk along the public street for quite some time. A bit confusing for newbies. Signposting could be better, but here I was happy to simply follow the other players. Free ice water at the restaurant came very handy on such a hot day with temperatures up to 100F :-) Driving range with pillar behind the driving places, comparably close. Wasn't used to this but finally managed to ignore it (see picture). Altogether a splendid day. Would surely go again, ideally with my own equipment.
