I met with Austin Sisler on July 25th/August 7th to record a debut EP. We met twice, for about an hour and a half each time - once in order to talk about my general goals, and a second time in order to transfer my midi files into the studio's hard drive and discuss timing. I created a "reference playlist" in order for Austin to understand my vision for the tracks and we texted back and forth over the next week. I make it clear in my texts Aug 22nd (I'm happy to share them if y'all need) "September works for me...need anything from me at this point?". I receive no response. In September, with no response, I feel like something is wrong. I text (on 9/14) "Hey, just confirming that the ball is in your court - anything you need from me?". No response. I still have no response. It's 10/11/23, nearly a month later. I've never been ghosted by a "professional" organization. I feel completely disillusioned by my experience and I feel an obligation to let others know about my experience because it may also be yours.
