Very well designed park for all ages. Gravel walking/wheeling path around the edges, quaint and clean bathrooms, 2 playgrounds, and plenty of field space and tables/benches to have picnics on. Oh, not to mention the GORGEOUS trees that shade a majority of the park. One of my favorites! Soak it all in.

quietly a top 5 park in the city for me. compact, but with all your basic amenities (courts, multiple playgrounds, a soccer/kickball field, well-placed benches, restrooms). the trick is to take the trail loop up towards Sparks, around beside Waller Creek and across the footbridge. if you stand in the right spot back in the brush you can almost escape civilization.
