People! I just left a scathing review for Rubens taco truck, 2 blocks away, bad, El Palador here, good. Going down the SAME street to accomplish the goal of feeding people, and it is the exact 💯 opposite of that review. Lovely lady, great tacos, and immediately redeemed the other place. Look, you'd be happy to drive, literally like 40 seconds down Santa Monica, head east and eat here. Mind blown I'm this lucky lol. The fact El Palador has only .2 stars more makes me wonder if people care about the vendors, cooks and people they buy from. Weird. Love you. Happy guy

I ordered asada tacos. The meat was under marinated and had a still under taste. No limes, just a bit of onions thrown in. Wouldn’t order again.

Pretty average tacos that are a bit pricey compared to other taco truck in the area. Had a variety of meat (pastor, asada, tripas, barbacoa), nothing stood out. I don’t often write reviews but I felt misled by such positive ratings. Plus the staff was also not that friendly and they charged for extra mediocre salsa. Maybe this place was great 5 years ago but it is just okay now.
