Great pool with great staff. The swimming lessons for the babies/toddlers/kids is extremely affordable. Our toddler loved the sessions, at the end they gave him a certificate and a popsicle to celebrate the end of his training sessions.

The music those young kids the lifeguards/staff play is inappropriate to my child ears. I don't enjoy the music at all and also they made my 13-year-old daughter do a swim test and they said she failed because she couldn’t swim all across. It’s not like she’s gonna be swimming laps. She’s just standing in the water kind of swimming so they told her she has to wear a life vest smh Which is ridiculous We just ended up leaving. They didn’t even want to give me my money back that I paid to get in. I will not be going there anymore.

The main attraction, of course, is the large swimming pool, which is popular among fitness swimmers and casual bathers alike. Every hour, there is a dedicated adult swim time, allowing older guests to enjoy uninterrupted laps or relaxation. For families with younger kids, there is a separate wading pool designed specifically for children six years and under, ensuring a safe aquatic environment where parents can supervise closely. Besides open swim sessions, swimming lessons such as Starbabies Swimming Lessons are occasionally offered on-site, enhancing skills and water confidence for beginners. The pool also encourages fitness activities each morning, with early hours reserved for lap swimming and exercise. Rules prohibit roughhousing and certain sports gear like footballs or soccer balls to maintain a peaceful atmosphere, but pool toys are welcomed, which can add to the fun for smaller groups or families. This combination of structured and freestyle activities means every group member can find something enjoyable to do.

Why is El Prado Pool perfect for group meetups? The layout and management of El Prado Pool make it particularly suitable for hosting group events and casual gatherings. Its operating hours are quite generous, with recreation time from 9 AM to 9 PM on most days, which gives groups maximum flexibility for coordinating plans. The pool is member-operated but allows guests, with each household permitted two guests accompanied by a member. This structure supports both intimate group interactions and slightly larger meetups if coordinated properly. The facility includes clean restrooms and onsite parking, alleviating common logistical concerns when bringing multiple people together. The pool's rules promote a family-friendly, respectful environment: no alcohol, no glass, no roughhousing, and careful supervision of children is mandatory. These policies contribute to safety and comfort, allowing group members to relax and enjoy their time without worries. The presence of adult swim periods and gentle supervision guidelines means that different age groups can coexist harmoniously, making El Prado Pool both versatile and conducive to socializing. It's a place where groups can play, unwind, and bond in a safe, controlled environment.

How does El Prado Pool accommodate families and children? Families with children are especially well-catered for at El Prado Pool, making it a destination where family meetups can thrive alongside recreational fun. The pool has specific provisions to ensure young children’s safety, such as a designated wading pool for kids six and under. This smaller pool is designed for the littlest swimmers to splash and play while parents remain within arm’s reach for supervision. Additionally, there is a clear requirement for adult supervision of children under 16 at all times, which reassures parents that safety is a top priority. To maintain hygiene and safety, children in diapers are required to wear specially sealed swim pants, and diaper-changing on the pool deck is prohibited. Moreover, the pool environment is carefully controlled to prevent accidents and maintain health standards — persons with contagious diseases or open wounds are prohibited from swimming. The absence of lifeguards on duty means families must be vigilant, but it also encourages collective responsibility among pool users. These thoughtful measures make El Prado Pool an excellent option when your group includes multiple generations, ensuring that everyone can have fun in a safe setting.
