I took a beginner's ceramics course at Elemental Studios with Casey as the instructor in January 2020, and I absolutely loved it. The class was once a week for three hours, and we had access to the studio outside of class hours so we could practice and work on projects. The class was small, just six people, which I really appreciated. Everyone got a lot of one-on-one help and attention. Every class would start with a mindfulness practice to contemplate, discuss, and use during the class. It opened up great conversations and made us all much closer and more comfortable with each other. It was a very supportive community. I was in a bit of a rut when I found the course, and it helped me get centered and be involved in a really loving, vibrant community. After the course ended I became a member, which is so nice for me. With COVID, they are making things very safe, and only one person is allowed in the studio at a time, which means you get the whole space to yourself, which is very peaceful and great for getting through a lot of projects. I love this place so much. Thank you Casey!!
