This neighborhood has vastly improved since I last visited. The park is pretty with a nice wooded trail that skirts the outer edge. I would not venture there after dark though.

I was happy about this little park since I go to school nearby. It is awful. Maybe I came at the wrong time but there were bugs everywhere!! I mean I know it's outside and you will find bugs/mosquitoes but when I tell you I could not walk because the mosquitoes were right on my face the whole 10 minutes I was there I mean it!! Trash is to the tops. This park needs attention! I would recommend Perkerson park 2 mins down the road if you're in this area.

Nice and quiet little park. Surprisingly the city actually is fairly responsive and quick in fixing any issues that have arisen here over the past few years (gazebo burned down, multiple trees or branches have fallen onto the playground structures). There is a nice quiet trail on the outskirts that can serve as a good little dog path or an "adventure walk" for kids. The creek isn't the cleanest, but it still is nice to look at and sometimes you can even see some animals around. Luckily there haven't been any coyotes in a while.

Peaceful cozy type of park. A lot of space and trees. Love it. Edit: Visited again today and I really have to say.. people call many things 'hidden gem' but I really believe this park is a hidden gem. It's truly one of the most beautiful parks we have visited. Birds.. butterflies.. beautiful trees.. flowers everywhere.. What more could you ask for. A piece of Heaven on Earth. Well na I don't think nothing can compare to Heaven. 😉

Nice playground with 2 separate areas for big and little kids. It's also pretty nicely shaded. All my encounters with folks at the park have been friendly.
