The Ebony and Ivory pie was one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten, and I’m a harsh critic having made hundreds of desserts myself. Texture of the filling was smooth and not too sweet even with the Nutella, and the crackly top added textural variation. The crust was flaky, buttery, and fresh tasting. My partner and I gobbled the slice up so fast! Rod was SO nice to deal with. He really hooked us up. Looking forward to our next visit to Deep Ellum. We’ll definitely be back at Emporium trying more pie.

🥧 Emporium Pies – Dessert Heaven in Dallas! 🍫🍰 Right next door to Pecan Lodge BBQ, we stumbled into Emporium Pies—and wow, what a sweet surprise! We tried two slices: Smooth Operator -The Chocolate Silk with a pretzel crust– rich, smooth, and absolutely yahmilicious (yes, that’s a word now)! The Mellow Yellow - A Cheesecake with a ginger snap crust – my wife’s favorite. The creamy filling paired perfectly with the zesty bite of the crust. Each slice is about $8, and if you want to take home a whole pie, you're looking at around $42–$50. Totally worth it for the quality and flavor. If you’re ever in the area, this place is a must after some BBQ! Whether you're team chocolate or team cheesecake, you won’t be disappointed. 🎥 Don’t forget to check out our full experience on our YouTube channel, It’s All About Food & Places – and hit that subscribe button with the black bell icon to catch our video when it drops. Alicia gourmet pies with a homemade feel. Several tables of seating inside and out. A lovely shaded patio with creative pie mural. We enjoyed the strawberry. On a main strip of deep ellum, they provide convenient dessert next to great BBQ.

After gorging ourselves just up the street at Terry Black’s BBQ, a slice of pie seemed the logical next step. Emporium Pies more than fits the bill. A nice little shop serving up slices of pie and they do a solid job. On this sweltering June afternoon, the Papa Don’t Peach was just the ticket. A chilled cream pie, studded with peach and raspberry with a crumbly topping, it was absolutely delicious. Madonna herself would approve, says 1985 me. Service is nothing elaborate but friendly. Nice place for pie.

Really enjoyed everything! Had some friends from out of town who wanted pie and I knew where to take them. Pictured is In the Limelight- a Keylime pie, the Dapper Apple- an apple struessel pie, and the Drunken Nut- a bourbon pecan pie, and the Peach, Please- a classic peach pie. All 4 were delicious and devoured.
