We came all the way from Tampa Bay, FL for this experience and were welcomed with warm smiles and service. The host and sommelier were helpful and knowledgeable. The interior is well put together and cozy. We don’t get all the varieties of Erath in Florida so it was nice to try them here at the tasting room!

The tasting room was warm and inviting, with a comfortable sofa as well as single seats all beautifully made. The music was quietly enjoyable, fitting the rustic vibe of the space. Our host was kind and friendly, serving us a few flights of the excellent wine, along with a delicious cheese, spread, nuts & flatbread platter.

Tina very pleasant Yet Not as good service as in the past with Bree and Gene Reservations made, table was dirty and not set up , service slow Long wait for tastings and a reminder was needed after nearly an hour forces Charcuterie board Also if note, at the pick up party I went to the desk and ordered one half case of Pinot She charged me and included a 20 per cent tip. Another customer was standing there so I did not make an issue But, called the next day..I did not think it appropriate !!! Have so enjoyed our visits in the past

Oregon is renowned for its Pinot Noir, and Erath is one of the names that helped put Oregon on the global wine map. The story behind Erath Winery is inspiring—an engineer who turned his passion into a legacy, pioneering Oregon’s wine industry by planting Pinot Noir grapes in the Dundee Hills back in 1969. This dedication to the region’s terroir and history shines through in every glass. We visited the tasting room in downtown Portland and were introduced to some of their reserve wines. As non-experts, we were pleasantly surprised by how smooth and fruity the Pinot Noir was—it was exactly to our taste and just right for special occasions. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to take a case home, especially with the perk of free shipping anywhere in the U.S. if you fly with Alaska Airlines! We can’t wait to share these wines with family and friends over Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you’re looking for quality Oregon wine with a story behind it, Erath Winery is a must-visit!
