VERY MISS LEADING AND EXPENSIVE! When I first signed up I was told there was a lot of singles in their 20s and 30s they hyped up all the amazing events that they do so I paid up front for a 2-year membership which was close to $2,600 with taxes. I am in my late thirties so I was hopeful to find somebody within my age group here. I attended 10 to 15 events a month for the first few months. I never met anybody in their twenties a few in their 30s but most everybody was in their 40s 50s and some in their 60s. The Host we're not very good at introducing you to everybody it seems like some of the people have been there for a long time and they all have their little groups they hung out with so a lot of the events were awkward for me as I didn't have many people to talk to and some of the people that were in their little groups were standoffish to the other people at these events. There were some good host at some of the events but that's who I ended up hanging out with the most was just the host. I did go on two trips with E&A one local in Colorado and one in Utah. After approximately 3 to 4 months I decided to take a break and I was told I could pause my membership up to two times for unlimited amount of time until I'm ready to start signing up for events again. after a year they canceled my membership with no explanation and said that you could only pause for short-term. Even if it was a short-term pause I was never able to view the calendar or sign up for any events and then my membership was canceled! My membership being canceled has nothing to do with me just misleading information on their end. $2,600 is a lot of money to spend to try to socialize with people that weren't even in the same age group as me for approximately 3 to 4 months. I would definitely recommend not using events and Adventures. There are other single social groups that are free that you don't have to pay for just look on social media and you will find them.

When I joined Events and Adventures I didn’t realize how much of an impact meeting these people and doing these activities would have on my life. The website on your phone is harder to use and I wish they had an app or a better website made for phones, but other than that you can still sign up and do events easily! It does take time to feel comfortable with the people that have been in E&A for years, but after consistently showing up to similar events on a weekly basis, my friendships with these people have absolutely come a long way. Regardless of your situation, I would highly recommend going with the lifetime membership. You never know what life will throw your way, and having a group of friends that you see on a regular basis to get you out of the house and doing an activity has really helped my mental health. If you travel to another state that also has events and adventures you can sign up for activities in that state as well. So if you move or travel a lot you can still get to do activities depending on where you’re going. I have made some lifetime friendships from this group, I hope you like to play volleyball because we take our volleyball pretty seriously in E&A 🤣!

If I could give 0 stars I would! This company is predatory, only lets you cancel for 3 days after working, falsely advertises the quality of the events and forces you to sign up without fully knowing what you are signing up for. I have been to 4 events since joining: Event 1: new member event, the room was booked for the wrong time, I arrived at the same time as the organizer and there were only a few people who showed up. Event 2: paid $39 for a "st. Patrick's Day event" which had a few sad decorations, bad games and cold appetizers. I ended up just paying for my own drinks because the bartenders didn't know about the tickets. I was also supposed to receive a $10 refund for this event because I was a new member and that has not happened even though I've reached out multiple times about it. Event 3: I brought a friend to this one and it was just us, 3 other women and the organizer who clearly had no idea what to do with us or how to host an event. Event 4: this event did not even happen because the reservation was made incorrectly. I was given a credit rather than a refund of the $22 I paid. In what world would anyone want to continue to spend money when after giving this company multiple shots to do something right, they have continued to show me that it's just a waste of money. I have been attempting to cancel my membership since the company will not hold up their end of the contract but they are completely unreasonable. I have reported them to consumer protection agency and the better business bureau.

Update... Memorial Day weekend we went camping in Canyon City. It was an amazing weekend! White water rafting, zipline, marshmallow fight by the campfire, theme nights... ugh.... I think I started living again when I joined E&A! LIVING MY BEST LIFE! I joined E&A about 8 months ago so I could even out my work life balance. I went to work and came home. For the most part my friends are married and have kids so it was hard to plan any get togethers. There is a decent membership fee to join, but it's so worth it when someone else plans everything and you just show up! There are always trips to go on in addition to the local events. I actually took my first international trip ever, to the Dominican Republic in Sept. I finally got to use my passport! I met, and am still friends with so many of the amazing people I met there! The owner of the club was also there and what a super nice cimpassionate and fun guy!! I have made so many new friends and adore them!! I look forward to getting together with everyone and experiencing new things. There are big extravagant exciting parties like New Years, Valentines Day and St Patty's day. I'm super excited to attend the Memorial Day camping trip!! And the weekly events are a laid back great time hanging out with all of these amazing people! If you're new, take the time to get to know the people in the club, it can feel odd at first but isn't meeting new people always a bit uncomfortable in the beginning? Everyone is also very welcoming and will make sure you have fun!! I truly can't say enough about the club, the people I have met, the fun and excitement each and every event I attend!!! Thanks E&A!!
