After seeing this show, I think every city should strive to have a cabaret. Faena’s theatre effectively demonstrates what it means to have a gold standard. What makes this a 5-star show is the cohesion between music, acrobatics, singing, light-show, choreography, storytelling, eroticism, and general ambiance of being in Faena. In other words, all the preceding factors were consistent with the ambience experienced within the architectural style of Faena and Miami. One could do this same show in Los Angeles, New York, or even Gutenberg Iowa, but should they?? I have been to Moulin Rouge and thought nothing could come close. I was wrong. I cannot post too much content here from this amazing show because I would spoil the creativity and effects, but I can say that this is an opportunity for you to feel free from your cell phones. The performers are all professional and captivating. The show is not sexual, and yet it is sexy. The colors used in the auditorium, and the beautiful staircase and mammoth skeleton you pass to get to the show are consistent with the style of the performance. This is a show you won’t want to miss when you are in Miami, not to mention the authentic touch of flamenco dancing and guitar-playing.
