Prices have noticeably gone up, and when I compare them to other local stores, Fairplay no longer feels like the most budget-friendly option. For that reason, it’s not my first stop anymore. That said, I still appreciate what they offer and will continue to support them from time to time, especially when I need something specific. If you choose to shop here, I highly recommend comparing prices with nearby competitors to make sure you’re getting the best deal. It’s not quite the gem it used to be, but it still has its moments.

Security is absolutely disgusting at this location. Whenever I enter the store they make it a point to walk past me multiple times whether at the entrance/exit or while I'm in line. Apparently, an African American woman in professional clothing (coming from work at a nearby hospital) just has to be up to no good. Today was the last straw as I frequent the store due to the proximity to my workplace. I waited to speak to a manager and informed him that security is following the wrong person around as I always pay in cash, with a physical card or via my phone. I told him to run the tapes back for over the years I've been shopping there and they will NOT find once instance of me shoplifting. For crying out loud i always give the cashiers my phone number to earn points. The entire security department needs a refresher on how to EFFECTIVELY do their jobs.

Do not cater from here. I recently ordered 5 2ft party subs for a party ended up spending around $140 I asked for 3 with ham and turkey and American and I received 3 with ham turkey American and provolone. also ordered 2 ham,pepperoni and salami w American got received one ham,salami and pepperoni with American and provolone and One 2ft sub with just cheese, American and provolone. Very disappointed with the service especially considering I went over my order with two separate employees on two separate occasions. I've catered from FairPlay in the past for the subs from the location on 111th and they were awesome. wasted 25 dollars and some change on a sub that ended up going to waste And the other subs weren't even made to my request.
