I've been shopping here for years and referring it to everyone. This past Sunday I was in, I purchased a small microwave Annie the person in charge that day told me to put it on a console in front of the counter and not on the glass counter tops. I continued shopping and got a large bronze vase, and a large bronze compote, put them on the console with the microwave and went back to shopping ... I had put a small note book in the compote. When I go to pay I noticed the two bronze pieces were gone the cashier said she sold them. sold to the people at the antique mall next door. , I went over and explained that pile of stuff away from everything else was mine and I put it there because Annie told me to. The woman from the antique store said tough luck, I paid for it. Long story short I'm back in family place and her and a man who was there when I sat it down in the first place came in and went directly to the back and after about 10 min I asked if I could go back since it involved me. And I was told No!!! Employees only . Does that mean the antique mall works there also? Annie could have said we made a mistake. Just let him pay you what you paid and let him have the two bronze pieces. .but No Annie just says to me mistakes happen ...yes but why can't the mistake happen in my favor I had them pulled and not put on the glass!!! As I was told. The honorable thing for a Business owner to do is say we're sorry but a mistake happened and let him have the two pieces, but the antique mall would rather mark it up 30 times and make a huge profit. All I'm asking is who's wright? Why could a person in charge not say he'll pay you what you paid for it let him have them.... But Annie wouldn't do it. Unless Annie does something to Camaras this should all be on video Annie standing right with me as we talk about these two pieces.. I will not stop until I get into the corporate office and having someone tell me why a charge can't be returned and an apology made. I can and will bring other things to service I know that are shady as well. It not a lot of money and I'm not out a penny it the principal, I wanted these for me not to mark up 20/30 times and make a profit . I'll be on the sidewalk with signs.

I can’t stop thinking about the lovely experience I had here. I was looking for a piece to wear for Christmas and I usually facetime my sister to ask her opinion, but she wasn’t available. I am so grateful that this stunning tall young lady with curly hair gave me feedback and ideas. the Christmas spirit was not quite spiriting this year so it is nice to have such a pleasant experience days before Christmas

It's dangerous for me to donate items to this resale store, because I can't stop myself from going in to shop as well! I have made numerous great purchases here, most recently a set of three oil paintings shown here for a whopping $5.00! There's a frequent turnover of merchandise and prices are reasonable.

I’ve been finding creative ways to offer support to the community this holiday season. I truly believe in using exercise as a tool to access your inner strength during difficult times. I found this gem on the other side of town and decided to pop in. I’m so glad I discovered their shop. I spoke to a young lady named Melaw (spelling?) about the cause. I’m so grateful that we were able to connect. She is kind, professional, educated, and you can tell she cares. We connected on the importance of looking and feeling your best. Becoming a version of yourself that you love through your adversities Thank you for your time and giving me the opportunity to spread the word. Happy Holidays Family Place!
