Fun place to have an adventure in nature. Walking trails and benches. It has 2 separate sides of the preserve which is kind of cool. We really only explored the south side because we got there a bit later and the sun was setting on us after walking awhile. The boys had lots of fun throwing rocks into the puddles and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Bus stops right on the street on either side of the Slough makes it really convenient getting there. Also we met a little girl who lived in the area and became our adorable tour guide. If you cared to know it's pronounced "sloo"

It is nice that there are wild spaces for birds, and aquatic life within populated areas. Though some parts are closer to the road and it can be noisy with traffic. Was wondering if higher vegetation around the perimeter would make it more sheltered for the wildlife and create a sound barrier.

Beautiful park. Lots of birds! Kingfishers, Snowy Egrets, Herons. Great little trails!

One of my top favorites for bird watching, and photography while also getting steps in and enjoying wildflowers on the hiking trails.

It is very nice place when sunny. The trail around is mostly hard dirt road and some concrete, it is a very short trail. Pets friendly. During cloudy days smell can be little swampy. Touch of rotten eggs smell would blend in.
