Location: Good, Parking : Okay ( street parking or public parking building for a fee). Service: Decent, Presentation: Nice, Price for food received: Average for area ( expect. $20 per plate with drinks ) , Overall: It was hard to believe that that last time I walked through the doors of this building is was an awesome Chinese restaurant that had a generational history of excellent food. In the late 80's the children of the best generation just did not wish to follow and so went the Cafe. Now in 2024 I am happy to see the place back open but with a different style and flavor, that is a nice change and is unique to all the other food offerings in the local area. Mixing Mexican and Japanese cuisine literally is truly a combination I had never had, but I never back down from many challenges. The Chicken Leg mole was pretty good as well as the tofu tacos. Now the Pasole Ramen was good, but I felt a flavor was missing. Still, I will return to try other dishes and enjoy the memories of being in the place that gave so many smiles long ago. So for now 4 Stars...

this place has a smell that’s not pleasant, i don’t know if that is partially the cause of why my food tastes mediocre at best .. the bar looks like it is stocked with everything you could imagine but it’s stocked with more uncommon spirits rather than the more popular ones out there .. i’m indifferent about the atmosphere , it’s not brining me joy but it’s not bothering me either , overall i feel like if you come to this place you should expect to just tolerate it (even though i’m literally choking down my food so i can get away from this smell..), and won’t be wowed with a great experience.

Great food and it was very tasty. We had the short rib tacos and they were very tasty. The bacon fried rice was awesome. The bacon was crispy and the egg was cooked just right. The smoked pork belly was salty and tender. The chicken wings were the best. We also had the spicy tuna roll and that was good. I highly recommend this place.
