We visited the Highlands Farmers Market not quite knowing what to expect—and left wishing we had something just like this back home! Set over two blocks, this market offers a fantastic mix of fresh local produce, artisan goods, craft spirits, plants, mushrooms, and more. Despite being well-attended, it never felt too crowded. The layout made it easy to explore at your own pace, whether you were there for serious grocery shopping or just a leisurely stroll. The range of vendors was genuinely impressive. We spotted everything from vibrant greens and just-picked fresh veggies to beautifully packed mixed mushrooms and gorgeous potted plants including peppers and tomato plants. The energy was lively but relaxed—exactly the kind of Sunday morning experience that feels like a local ritual. What really stood out was the sense of quality and care. The mushroom stand in particular was fascinating—with a stunning array of varieties and helpful notes explaining each one. We also loved the craft stalls and small-batch goods that added a unique flavour to the market. It’s the kind of place where you can fill your tote bag with delicious goodies and meet passionate local producers at the same time. Whether you’re a foodie, a plant lover, or just looking for something a little different to do in Denver, this market is absolutely worth your time. Highly recommended.

Best farmers market in the area. Plenty of produce vendors, homemade wares, and good vendors. Love that it's dog friendly. Even when it's busy - it's not overwhelming. My new go to on Sundays. Just get there early as produce does sell out.

We had a great time at this Farmer’s market! There were a lot of people but it didn’t feel crowded. There is a nice variety of vendors. We got there about 10:30 and things were just starting to sell out, so maybe go early. It is street-based so good wheelchair accessibility. There isn’t actually a parking lot (like google maps says), street parking only. We will definitely be back!

The live music was great and there were plenty of awesome vendors. Mile high fungi was probably one of my favorites. The kombucha from one of the vendors was slightly disappointing so I'd like to try a different cart next time but all in all lovely market if you're in the area on a Sunday!
