This is a medium-sized thrift store in Hillcrest. The woman and the security guard working here were both friendly. There was a mix of things here such as clothing, furniture, kitchen ware, books, and music, but a lot of things here were dusty and older (the clothing was a little newer though). It's good to have thrift stores around, but I didn't see anything here that piqued my interest.

I called to donate two beautiful like new couches and I have small steps leading to my place and they basically refused asking me to bring it down to my garage a single woman. What a tragedy they are unwilling to do a little work.

This location has a friendly staff. Deals are to be found here you just have to be patient. If you have donations, they have a quick process to accept them. Always pay it forward.

Pickup was great but they weren’t able to get all the items. I needed it before a certain time due to me moving out. They cancelled my first appointment and rebooked me for 3 days later. Then when they did come they only picked up 3 of the 5 items I needed removed. Then I called back to reschedule and the lady on the phone had an attitude and was unhelpful and was not able to meet my request to have my things picked up before I move.

Note: This is a review of the donation pick up only and not the thrift store. About a month ago I set up an online appointment to have some patio and office furniture picked up from our apartment. We never got a confirmation of the appt. and made 2 cancellations for the date of pick up because we weren't going to be available on that date. To our surprise the truck showed up anyway. *If you do live upstairs you will be required to bring all donated items down to the street. The drivers & crew were REALLY helpful (I have a bad back and can't move heavy objects well at all) and took care of everything really fast. They were also very kind about it too. So, 4 stars for the good service, -1 star for the lack of communication in the appointment/cancellation process/no confirmation notices.
