Great experience. You can bring your horses here and get inside the water with them. Some people called the police on us because we were inside with our horses but the police came and reassured us that it was okay to have them there. Nice trails to ride as well. Water is not freezing its fresh in summer. Dogs are also welcome. Very lovely. Great scenery and lots of fun.

Great free place to hang out for a day close to the water with the bonfire in the evening and barbequing during the day. You can bring your jet ski, paddle boat or little boat. Check the water quality before going in for swimming. Dog friendly place. The issues I have in this place is you have to be early to secure your site if you will need a fire ring and you have to leave the place by 10pm. No overnight camping allowed and no flushing toilets. They have portable potty. You can enjoy the fireworks at 9:50pm that Sea World provides.

Known for holding Over the line events. Great place to chill with friends. Ive seen families gather for picnics and bon fires. Also sea doo and swim. Heads up.. It's a giant donut with one way in and one way out, so you can imagine the chaotic traffic during holidays/events. So get there REALLY early.

Great spot to spend the day. Fiesta Island does close at 10pm, and are pretty strict on the consumption of alcoholic beverages. The times I’ve been there people have been very respectful, no loud music or obnoxious people. Restrooms are ok could be serviced more often.

5 miles of shoreline for all types of adventures! Watersports, fire pits, dog park, horse walks, OTL turnaments, cyclists, and rocket launching. This is the center of the San Diego Play Ground. And on years it rains enough, the wild flowers in the dog park grow over 4 feet high before the city does spring grooming.
