Today we did the tour. Here is our reason for our rating. Best crust was at Gino’s East, best flavor at Lou Malnati’s, the cheese at Pizzeria Uno was good but the sauce reminded us of ketchup. Overall service was Lou Malnati’s they welcomed us in and knew exactly what the tour was; Gino’s East we felt they just push us to the side until they figured out what to do after we sat in the corner for 10 minutes, Pizzeria Uno we spoke to 4 people before they knew that we were on the tour, the lady that finally helped us left her personality at home and someone finally brought to her before we left. You have 2 hours to complete the tour which we understood why but eating 6 pieces of deep dish pizza on 2 hours was a tough fete.

I agree with people that the experience is not there. The tour said that the pizza would be ready and we would have a table as long as we stick to the hours but is partially true. We had our pizza ready on Gino’s East, the rest of the places didn’t even a table reserved for us, and the pizza not even prepared. The idea is great but the communication between the Finger Licking foods and the restaurant is not.

What special considerations should groups keep in mind when planning a meetup at Finger Licking Foodie Tours?

When planning a group meetup at Finger Licking Foodie Tours, it is important to consider the physical activity involved, as guests will be walking moderately for several hours, which might not suit all group members, especially those with mobility issues. The tour does offer seating intervals for tastings, but groups with elderly members or young children should evaluate comfort needs ahead of time. Dietary restrictions or allergies should be communicated in advance to ensure the tour can accommodate everyone safely and enjoyably. Since the businesses visited are usually small local eateries, the tour size and timing may limit last-minute changes, meaning punctuality and adherence to the schedule are important. Lastly, the current average rating indicates there may be some variability in the quality of the experience, so reading recent reviews or reaching out to the tour operator for specific questions could help set expectations and enhance satisfaction for your group.
