At least four years ago I began my yoga practice with Anne Marie. I wrote a review of her class in the Central Square MASS Ave studio back then commenting on her extraordinary skill and what a warm and very good teacher she is If I were to add anything to that review today, I would say all those previous attributes continue to be true in abundance and in addition Anne Marie is amazingly flexible. We have continued our practice (remotely) throughout the pandemic. I now practice with her twice a week and find that it is a true mind body experience. Our classes build from one session to the next. They change from season to season. Anne Marie’s instructions are always clear and she often gives two or three options reminding the students that we are to listen to our body and to be kind to it. And above all we need to breathe. Perfect advice from a wonderful teacher in a challenging time. If you are feeling you are missing something in your life as we move through not quite normal times, try to sign up for a class!

A really quaint studio that feels like it's run by your family - a big, big contrast to the way yoga has been commercialized and trivialized today. Class with Miranda is the only thing around here that makes me feel like I'm back practicing in India. The way she provides warm encouragement and many options throughout the practice really resonates with me. Definitely check this studio out if you're craving a time to disconnect and look inward.

I took a Yin workshop centered around digestion the Saturday following Thanksgiving. It couldn’t have been any better. The instructor, Christine, explained all of the poses and how they benefit the digestive system. She also talked about different diets and how they effect the body. I learned about polyphenols, a word I had never heard before. I left the class feeling relaxed and informed. The owner, Anne Marie, sat in on the class and helped me sign up for more conventional classes afterward.

Ken is amazing! It's like he has x-ray vision and can pinpoint exactly what muscles are tense/hurting/sore. He uses just the right amount of pressure and always gives great feedback on what I can do differently to help my body stay healthy. I always, always feel better after seeing him - he is truly a healer!
