The job market for bootcamp coders is absolutely dead and has flatlined…. I have been burned HARD by attending Flatiron. I graduated back in 2023, I have applied to jobs, I have interviewed and have networked and improved my skills. I still do not have a job or prospects for that matter. Please please! Do NOT go into debt attending this place. The interest has stacked very high for me, I cannot make the $1000 payment every month for a high paying career I never gained. Do yourself a favor, take half the money you would l pay coming to this place and get an actual BS in computer science with University of the People. It’s an accredited university and the complete cost of your degree is around half the price for attending this scam organization. Side note: This location is permanently closed! I am not entirely sure why they didn’t report it, probably because it reduces their search score on google. I knew the person working the front desk, she said it closed in October of 2024. The teachers that worked here had to find other jobs.

Stay away from Flatiron School they are thieves. Flatiron employs Launch Servicing, who use unethical calculations (not mentioned in the signed ISA agreement) to inflate a student's income, which in turn inflates their payments, and then Flatiron School pockets the money. The ISA states you have to make over $3,333.33 a month and I don't (I will even show my full pay stubs as proof), but instead they made up the magic number and now I owe a payment which I can't physically afford. Not only that the education wasn't that great. I learned more from the free Harvard CS50 courses on youtube. Please stay away from Flatiron; they will steal money from the students they claim to help. It has been a nightmare for 4 years, and now they are messing up my credit because I am overdue on a payment that I technically don't qualify for. Flatiron was the worst mistake of my life. I have proof they are breaking the law, and if you would like to hear more, I am happy to talk. They will lie and say you make more than you do, so they can steal off the top. Also, I am willing to teach people who want to learn, for free, just so they can stay away from Flatiron. Thieves!

I've had an amazing experience with Flatiron School so far. The Flex course has been a game-changer, allowing me to learn at my own pace while still feeling fully supported. Even though it’s not an in-person experience, the accessibility of the instructors and Technical Coaches through virtual meetings is really helpful because they can meet you at convenient times, with plenty of options available. The quality of the support is top-notch—I never feel like I’m missing out. The curriculum is immersive and outcomes-driven, providing a strong foundation in Software Engineering. The instructors are knowledgeable and genuinely committed to helping students succeed. This is hard and so was CS at university. There’s no getting around that. I really like this way of learning CS because it makes the concepts clear and easy to understand, and they build naturally from one lesson to the next. Shout out to Nancy Noyez, whose passion for teaching and wanting her students to succeed is palpable and inspiring. All the Technical Coaches are incredibly encouraging and keep your hope alive when you get stuck and feel like you can't do it. They make sure you never feel alone on this journey. What really stands out is how much the school cares about changing lives for the better. They definitely live up to their reputation as a top player in the tech industry, offering not just education but a real investment in your future. With just a few weeks left in the program, I’m excited to put everything I’ve learned into practice and take the next step in my career. I’m confident that Flatiron School will be there to support me as I transition into the tech industry, and I’m eager to collaborate closely with the career services team and leverage any additional guidance they offer to ensure a successful job search. Staying connected with the community is important to me as I move forward. This experience has been truly life-changing, and I’m grateful to soon be part of the Flatiron alumni and community.

Joining the Flatiron School Denver campus was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The structure of the program, the community, and the quality and diversity of instruction is all built around helping you learn, and eventually helping you to teach yourself. Within the first 6 weeks you build the necessary skills to be able to call yourself a full-stack software developer. From there, it only goes deeper, as students push and expand their skills in Javascript, learn some basic auth in Ruby on Rails, and ultimately put everything they've learned thus far into creating full-stack web apps in React. By the end of the program, many students are building apps using technologies that aren't even taught in the course, such as Vue, React Native, Python/Django, GraphQL and more. This is an incredibly supportive community that doesn't end the moment you receive your certificate. Flatiron's career services are committed to helping students find employment and some of the most exciting moments are when students return to proclaim that they've received a job offer. If you want to learn the skills to become a software developer, I'd recommend looking here first!

I took the Software Engineering bootcamp and at the time of posting this, it has been 3 days since I graduated! As a former Flight Attendant with no previous knowledge of coding, I never thought I would make it in this field. Such a complete curriculum to get you started. The work is demanding (rightfully so) and you have to be fully committed but trust me, it is so worth it.
