Their masterclass seminars are amazing, such a good value to try incredible wines and learn from the winemakers themselves. This review is directed to the lady in the front—6/29/25 3:20pm. I have been coming to this shop for the past few months and have spent over 1.5k. The cashier gave us a discount which we did not ask for, and we only asked for the stronger reusable bags. she started yelling saying the bags cost her money and that they already gave us a discount. I felt humiliated being berated in front of everyone for something so trivial. She could have charged me for the bags and not gotten worked up about something so small. Never shopping here again.

I was seeking a good seeking a good selection of Riesling. And... I FOUND ONE! Especially Riesling Spätlese, my favorite. The staff were also very knowledgeable in helping me find wines within my price range and even coaching me on the different tastes and backstories of each bottle. That's some commitment right there!

Love checking out their selection and adding to my collection as a result.. they also hold classes for various skill/knowledge levels and special ticketed tastings from time to time which I have yet to attend but seem exciting! One of the first places that comes to mind when I think of shops to get great wine in NYC. I enjoy chit chatting with the staff when time allows as well.
