Awesome experience. I have lived in Dallas for 3yrs and didn’t know some of these restaurants were here. Every stop was absolutely delicious. And they each had a substitute for the foodies that didn’t eat pork or red meat. I was so thankful of that. Courtney was an AMAZING guide!! I will be taking the Ft Worth tour too🥰🥰

We had a great experience with Shanae. She was super attentive the whole evening and made sure all the foods we tried were safe for me (being pregnant). We had the best BBQ of our lives on this tour as well as some of the best, authentically Italian pizza I’ve had in the U.S. so far. Great experience all around!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOOD TOUR! We had a great time in Dallas with our tour guide Courtney! Our group of six was led to Babouch (Lebanese), Ka Thai (Thai), St Martin Bakery (Guatemalean), and ended at The Rustic (TexMex). It was also my birthday, so my Bestie of 50 years, and I had a great time and Courtney even ended our tour with a BIG special dessert to share with the group! This tour put the cherry on our weekend celebration! Thank you ‘Food Tours of America’ 🎉🤗🤗 Thank you Courtney 🥰 Especially my Bestie Cynthia for such a most memorable birthday 🎉🥰🤗

I booked the Uptown Eats! Walking and Trolley tour for my husband for Father’s Day, we were blown away by our fabulous tour guide (Veronica) and the quality of the food (& cocktails) from the restaurants we visited. Veronica went out of her way to get to know each and everyone one of us and to make sure we had a great tour and thought of every detail. She was very knowledgeable on the areas of town as well as the different cuisines we tried. We were able to purchase drinks through our guide and settle up with her at the end, to keep the process faster and simpler for the restaurants. There was less walking than i thought, but that works out well for anyone who can’t handle all that….plus the trolley was fun and hearing about its history was very interesting. I highly recommend Food Tours of America (& Veronica) to anyone looking for a tour of Dallas. We would absolutely book a tour with them again, and would try to book another tour led by Veronica .

We did the Food Tours of America tour in Dallas along with another couple. We were visiting the area and my wife and I have found that one of the best ways to introduce yourself to a new city is to do so through good food and maybe a couple of drinks. The tour started on time and we visited three great smaller restaurants in the area and had a great opportunity to learn about the Dallas trolly’s as well as ride in one. Our tour operator, Veronica, was a wealth of knowledge and provided us great information about each restaurant as well as a plethora of information about Dallas itself. I would definitely recommend taking the tour if you are visiting the great city of Dallas plus I am pretty sure that if you live in the area, you will try new food, meet new people and learn more about the city. You might be asking why a rating of four vs five. The one thing that my wife, myself and our friends did not enjoy was how the beverages were handled. I somewhat understand the why it was handled the way it was but it was a negative for us. At the end of the completed tour, we were told that we had xx beverages for the tour and were billed an amount. At no point during the tour were we told the price of a drink and I only assumed we would get a bill at the end that detailed the information. It was a straight you had xx beverages, here is the total price and it left a bit of a bad taste for the four of us. Although it probably is a bit of an inconvenience and adds a bit of more time to the tour, we felt it would be best if each person/couple was charged for the drinks they ordered at each restaurant and the upfront price be mentioned. Based on the total charges, we paid approximately $20 per drink which is definitely a premium for the size drinks we received and compared to the amount we paid for the food tour itself. Outside of the beverages, the tour was reasonably priced.
