Nice shaded area for a walk, but unfortunately, the trails are not taken care of especially the south trail. There were several trees that had fallen over onto the trail and overgrown shrubs.

Found this place the other day and absolutely loved it! What a hidden gem in Dallas! The trails were very well kept up with and there were lots of them. The scenery was very beautiful. Lots of spots to fish. We didn’t do all of the trails just yet, so that we had something new to explore for next time. Love that the trails and area are easily marked. They have fishing line recyclers and the whole place is supposedly kept up by volunteers, well they obviously do a great job! Only downside was there was some pretty nasty trash in the water, but when it floods there’s not much that can be done to prevent that unfortunately. Other than that it’s an awesome place to check out! Can’t wait to go back.

Frasier Dam is a hidden gem in Northwest Dallas. Visited in winter and although the forrest trees were dormant, the trails surprisingly provided a tranquil escape from the city. The sound of the water rippling across the lakes provide an additional respite. Hiking level is relatively flat and the trails are easy to traverse. Looking forward to visiting when the trees green up.

Nice natural area with several areas for sitting, fishing, or having a picnic. There are several trails that interconnect so you can pick your own route. Very muddy a week after a big rain storm.
