I have attempted to contact this agency over 100 times beginning January 2nd, 2025... only to receive precious recording of time and date to call for assistance.. with understanding, there's are hundreds of people seeking assistance, but to never get through is unacceptable ... with having no phone etiquette... why not give the people options of scheduling appointments online with an explanation/screening of required documents prior to your physical appointments And the African America gentleman posted on the home page giving there wonderful message of hope only to appear to be a Frontline... help the people with all the inflation and everything else in the world we the people need the help that is available with understanding some programs have qualification.... but community action come on now Weird thing is I made contact with another community action right here in georgia answered phone clear community no nasty attitude unfortunately they did not service south fulton county... that's ridiculous homelessness heat lights my god people

May 30, 2025 at 11am FACAA will open the Liheap Cooling scheduler up again for the people that missed it or couldn't apply May 1st. FACAA approved me for my cooling bill. The Ladies in the office were pleasantly nice and ready to help. I was told it takes 4-10 weeks for the bill payments to process so make sure you at least pay something on your bill until it's paid. It's now May 1st 2025 just Tried to reapply for liheap Cooling got through on the phone but they kicked me out the scheduler system tried to call back had to try the website finally got through to schedule appointment started at 11am.If you didn't get an appointment within the first 10 minutes the system website kept crashing and glitching saying server was down because so many people were applying at once.
