I looved this little park! It is also connected to Gallup Park. I had to use the restroom and was soo glad they had some! AND not only did they have a restroom, it was HEATED!! Omg it was perfect for the 30 degree weather outside. I even stopped by before leaving, just to defrost inside!! There are several paths (some led to a dead end but that is part of exploring) and they have some benches that were donated by families to their loved ones (the words on them were so sweet). The benches are placed in lovely overlooking areas. I didn’t get too far but came for birding and saw Red-Shoulder Black Birds and Bluejays. I definitely will come back! Such a great spot!

A great place for a refreshing walk. Dotted with benches to sit and relax. You can also walk across the frozen river in snow. If you are lucky, can spot some nice birds chilling on the frozen river. Only issue when I visited- closed restroom. Otherwise, had a really good time.

Beautiful landscape. The hiking trails are flat and well kept. Great for novices or the elderly. Plenty of waterfowl and various species of birds to watch. The river supports a nearby kayaking/tubing rental business.

I stopped here for a solo walk on a whim after I had a hard time finding where to park for the Ann Arbor Arboretum. I’m so so so happy I came across this gem! I love all of the views you get of the water, the boardwalk is so great, and the whole walk just has so many different vibes and there are different ways to get through it. I can’t wait to go back with my fiancé!
