Beautiful park with a large enclosed area for the dogs, both shady and sunny and a lot of grass. There are areas that have chairs and certainly you can bring your own, but one of the best dog parks I’ve been to. We’ll be back!

Great trails, well maintained by the Portland parks bureau folks. Lots of neighbors out with their dogs. A popular place even during the weekdays. So much to do here, trails are just the start. Eager to go back and see more of the park, the garden, the skate park, and tennis courts. I’ll be back.

For usability and accessibility it’s hard to beat Gabriel. Whatever your outdoor activity of choice, chances are you can partake here; You got your skate park, off-leash dog area, hiking trails, paved paths, basketball courts, tennis courts, community garden, old growth forest, baseball fields, playground….i’m sure I’m missing stuff, but you get the idea. A great community resource in SW PDX. Count me as a fan.

I remember visiting this park on opening day about two years ago. It seems the business of park stays the same but that makes sense, this park is one of the best in town. I live about 25 mins away but kids always ask to go here. Lots of green fields. It’s a huge playground for kids. I think they should add more bathrooms given how many people visit the park.
