Great hike within the city….within….the….city. Took the loop. Gets pretty hairy on the down. With rain, I’d wouldn’t touch it. It looks like you can take a mountain bike so that’s a plus. Overall, pretty dope city hike.

Beautiful little trail that makes me jealous of the people who live on the edges of it. Not too long and not too hard either with some decent elevation and nice wooded areas to explore. When I went there was no one else there which was a pleasant surprise as I enjoy trekking alone and embracing the peace and quiet. I did encounter a few coyotes so make sure to keep an eye out, keep your dog on a leash, and behave accordingly if you do come across them. Also, I recommend bringing bug spray.

Gardena Loop Trails is one of my go-to trails with my Husky-mix pup. There is an ecclectic vibe of nature within this loop such as tall grass, an old creek, mountainside dirt trails, high to low palms and more. Perfect for whatever your mood calls for in an intense hike/cycle)run or leisure scenic stroll. For me, Gardena Loop Trail is an escape from the rush of the city.

Nice secret hike tucked away in our neighborhood. Keep dogs on leash, as rattlesnake sightings are pretty common.
