Lovely gelato and prompt friendly service. Space to sit inside. Gelato pretty smooth but not the smoothest I've had. Definitely worth a visit though. The flavours were good although not so innovative - maybe something that reflected the local region?

Gelato is so good. Multiple locations through boulder. Just love the raspberry dark chocolate chip. Hazelnut crunch and lavender. I would’ve tried it all It can get busy due to its location and staff No real place to lounge at the two locations I went

I’m so surprised at all of the positive reviews. This gelato was very disappointing to say the least. I would not even call this gelato. It was gummy and thick. The texture was just off. The pistachio was lacking in flavor and had a chalkiness to it. When I read the ingredients on one of the pints in the freezer, it all made sense. It’s Very disappointing that they use maltodextrin and xanthan gum and call this gelato. I wouldn’t even buy ice cream with these ingredients. What a disappointment. They even state on their website that they do not use “artificial flavors, preservatives, or other junk”. I would certainly call xanthan gum in gelato/ ice cream junk! I expected a much better product. Not worth it at all.
yeah ok
I know what you’re thinking. “Yeah Ok, are you really posting another review SO soon after yesterday’s?” And to that… I must admit my guilt. For, you see, this experience was not one that I saw fit to go undocumented. No… today, I was swept off my feet in the most magical way possible. As I strode down Pearl Street with my band of comrades —three dear companions whom I have known since my war days, of course— my eyes fell upon Gelato Boy, and I suggested that we stop in. Grateful to escape the intense wind of the outside world, we ventured inside the establishment, weary and in search of a delicious frozen confection. Friends, we were not disappointed. I sampled many flavors, but was tickled pink by their Lavender choice. I’m not ashamed to say that I have a bit of a feminine side! What a treat. Be well, my dear readers.

Brilliant flavors (15 with 5 vegan), refreshing taste and texture, good prices ($6.75 for 3 scoops) and they allow sampling. Collectively our favorite flavors were the lavender poppy (unique and delicious), chocolate hazelnut crunch (done really well), and the gooey butter cake with caramel (rich and wonderful). The triple berry sorbet and dark chocolate sorbet were also pretty good. The staff were friendly, there was ample seating and they also had brownies, waffles and milkshakes. Only small drawback was one of my flight scoops had a few shavings of ice, likely from water freezing after scooping with a wet scooper.
