I'm was born and raised in Ocean Beach, our fire pits are usually pretty decent. Today, upon arrival we did have some left over trash to pick up, but other than that it ended up being a sweet evening. Our solstice party was really chill and we had clear sky for just long enough to enjoy the Saturn and Jupiter eclipse. Friggin awesome!!!

Really like this area of Ocean Beach. Many volleyball spaces to get a good game in. Public restroom in excellent proximity to the activities. Also great place for sunset. Surfers seem to enjoy it as well. Many surfers here everyday but seems to be less crowded in the water than the southern part of the beach by the pier. Pretty large parking lot but be mindful that it's mostly one way. Humans are not the only ones that seem to choose this spot as one of their fave places to frolic, there are canines galore! Really don't have anything to mention as a major drawback. Obviously, it's popular so it can get busy, navigating the parking lot will sometimes require patience and definitely be attentive of all the pedestrian movement and our furry friends get excited about being here so be EXTRA MINDFUL of them!
