When my father was dying from brain cancer, they kept coming to his room. He had not even been taken off the ventilator yet. He had multiple cancers and probably would have been rejected for age and weight as well. This organization has zero compassion for the family, and I do not believe that they don't have a hand in making sure they don't do everything you and your family would wish to save your life if you're an organ donor. I have removed myself from the registry and do not wish to be an organ donor. I do not want to be another headline of someone waking up from them trying to get at your organs when you aren't dead.

Send a text or an email before waking someone out of their sleep. If this is a legitimate company that helps families wonderful for the company but that was a terrible mistake..Ive had rhis nunber for about 3 years so if you were reaching someone 3 years late that's ineffective

My wife always wanted to donate after her death. And there was someone hanging around for the right moment to talk to me about it in the emergency room. But on the phone they talked about certain things like skin and bone etc. I asked where they would get the bone from and was initially told they get it from the arms. My wife's family is very old school and didn't really approve of organ donation. So I was trying my hardest to balance everything out for all involved. 1. My wife's wishes. 2. Her family's In any case my wife never cared for long sleeve shirts and I wanted her viewing to look as natural as possible for her family's sake. Especially her elderly mother who is not in the best of health. So despite the conversation on the phone supposedly being recorded. And myself telling them multiple times not to take the bone from her arms as it would necessitate us dressing her in long sleeves to cover it up. Imagine my surprise when the funeral home told me I would need to bring in a long sleeve shirt. Yes they took the bone from her arms anyways. To say I'm disappointed in them would be an understatement.
