I wanted to find a hole-in-the-wall with a good slice for lunch today, and Giovanni's delivered. A well-seasoned oven, excellent crust, and the flavors of my admittedly basic choice of toppings were authentic and outstanding. This was a memorable meal, for all the right reasons. As for service: I don't give a toss about what I wear. Picture a fat, low-rent, homeless-looking version of Jim Morrison, if you will. Did the staff at Giovanni's judge or hurry me along? Absolutely not. I cannot thank this family-owned pizzeria enough for the excellent experience.

Was missing some good NY pizza and decided to check this place out at the advice of the front desk staff at my hotel. Glad I tried it! Got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, antipasto salad, and garlic knots. I arrived a minute early and they were just finishing putting my order together. The order was perfectly accurate, and the pizza and garlic knots were absolutely top notch. The pizza was very authentic tasting, as well. The antipasto salad was good, but not outstanding. The gentleman at the counter, who I suspect is the owner, was affable and efficient. I will definitely be back next time I'm looking for some good NY pizza!

The waitress increased the dining experience exponentially! She came by and asked if we wanted to hear her joke, super friendly and sweet. It was a dad joke 😂 We got lots more food but dug into everything before taking pictures. I like that the wings weren't tossed, I like the dip control!
