Not safe. Someone murdered last month again. Cars driving the wrong direction and blocking fire lanes. Police don't enforce simple littering laws much less maintain safety. There's a pool. And tennis courts without nets. UPDATE: 06/27/2025, the new pool is fantastic. The grounds have new (better?) erosion management. The grounds have been well improved. That being said, last night as I was biking through the park at 8:45pm there was gunfire once again. The trash cans overflow onto the grounds as they have for the past decade, littering the Tannehill Contribution tributary that feeds into the Colorado River. It's just like the neighborhood that surrounds it: a beautiful new facility in an oppressed, dangerous, and ignored community that is forced to rub elbows with the opulence of gentrification. Lovely playground, though.

It's cool that this park has frequent events. It's NOT cool that people trash it and there's little to no cleanup. It's always filthy and a woman by herself cannot walk through this park without getting harassed and cat-called.
