We came here because it's one of the rare locations that sells Jeni's Cookies & Cream flavor by the pint. It was a bit far from where we live, but the market was cute and the experience was enjoyable, a little adventure on a nice weekend. We arrived when the indoor cafeteria was close to closing, so we ate first before walking around the market. We had a burger with tater tots and a chicken sandwich, both were good quality. The market is small but offers a good variety of products. I went straight for my goal, the Jeni's Cookies & Cream pint, and also picked up a nice haul of mini pints. It's a great market. We’ll definitely visit again if we're in the area or need to restock on ice cream.

Fantastic grocery store. They have a curated selection and only carry the best versions of whatever you're looking for from chocolate to maple syrup to coffee. The staff is friendly and it's close to downtown. They also have a restaurant and are hosting popup drink nights with Veraison. They special ordered some Meyer lemons for me and then let me know when they were in season again. Basically, it's everything you would want in a neighborhood grocery and way more convenient than driving around to multiple stores looking for high-quality food items or ordering them online. If you haven't been there, it's definitely worth your while.

Wow! What a sandwich! I went with the chicken salad and it did not disappoint! I saw the fried chicken sandwich come out and immediately regretted not getting it. UPDATE: Went back and got the fried chicken sandwich. :)

A Neighborhood Gem That Feels Like Home As a disabled individual, navigating public spaces isn't always easy—and asking for help can be even harder. Pride gets in the way. Past experiences get in the way. But every time I step into Grant Park Market, all of that falls away. This place isn't just a store. It's a community. It's a comfort. It's home. From the moment I roll through the door, I'm greeted not just with recognition, but with genuine care. The team knows me by name—and more importantly, they see me. They anticipate my needs before I ask. They offer help without hesitation, without pity, and without making me feel like a burden. David, in particular, goes above and beyond every single time I visit. Whether it’s making sure I can reach what I need, navigating the aisles with ease, or just sharing a kind word, his presence makes a world of difference. And it’s not just him—every single employee I've encountered has shown me the same level of compassion and willingness to help. In a world that often overlooks people with disabilities, Grant Park Market stands as a beautiful exception. It's a place where community means something. Where accessibility is practiced, not just promised. Where I'm not just a customer—I’m family. If you're looking for good people, fresh food, and a store that leads with heart, Grant Park Market is it.
