I'm gonna say it...best bagels in the city. Their everything bagel with the salmon lox cream cheese?? Best thing I've ever tasted and I think about it all the time. The indoor-outdoor porch situation is so nice and I love the atmosphere. If you're not there for breakfast definitely get the soup of the day, it has never steered me wrong. Absolutely one of my favorite spots in the area.

My husband and I went to Grateful Bread for lunch over the weekend. It was our first time there. We were both very pleased with our sandwiches. He got the BLT on sourdough and I got the chicken salad on rustic Italian. Both sandwiches were delicious! The bread and fixings were fresh, his bacon was amazing, my chicken salad was top notch. We also ordered a ginger molasses cookie to share. The cookie was very gingery and delicious. We will happily return, it was a wonderful spot for lunch.

Whether it's for a quick lunch or a chill place to get some work or study done, this is the place I would go! My friend and I came for lunch on a Thursday around 12:15p. Upon entry, there was a long line, however, it moved very quickly. Despite the long line, it was not crowded once everyone sat down. I got the Chicken Caprese Panini and a cup of tomato soup which came out quickly and warm. This was definitely my comfort food on a cold, rainy Seattle day. I got the almond croissant to go for breakfast tomorrow. The best part of this place? They have a private parking lot. Even if the parking lot is full, it is pretty easy to park in the neighborhood and walk over. Highly recommend!

I just love this place. The vibe is “your local corner cafe”, with delicious bagels, fresh breads, baked goods, sandwiches and, of course, coffee. The staff is friendly and they even accept cash, which I appreciate. Thanks for being the staple of the neighborhood!

This place rocks. Has the classic Seattle feel that seems harder to find these days. I have a thing for toasted garlic bagels, and haven't found anywhere else that has a legit garlic bagel, like they have here. Its absolutely delicious. The mochas here are also great. They have a wonderful flavor. There are also a bunch of other menu items I have yet to try. Sandwiches and a variety of pastries. The service here has always been friendly, and they have never been understaffed, in my experiences. I would recommend stopping in for coffee and something to eat or snack on. It seems like they have something for almost anyone. Only thing I caution is the parking. My lowered vehicle has issues getting into the lot, and street parking is sometimes not possible to find.
