This is a beautiful hike and the views at the end were totally worth the trek. Solid hiking boots and hiking poles would be helpful. The trail has some undulations and rocky granite bits that can be felt through tennis shoe soles and the steep climb towards the end would have been nice to ascend and descend with the help of the sticks. Overall, highly recommend and early in the morning was a great time to go!

Green mountain is an awesome hike! I started at Chautauqua trail head and made it up to Green mountain summit. 2,700’ of elevation gain and 6.5 miles It took 2 hours with taking my time going up and running the whole way down. Boulder is full of amazing hikes and views!

Very scenic and easy way to say that you went to the top of a mountain today! The trail is well maintained and the elevation gain is gradual, making it easy and manageable for most. There are several great spots to stop for excellent views of the surrounding mountains. You are shaded by trees for most of the hike.
