Awesome customer service, Above and beyond! They have the largest selection of pruning shears, saws and gardening implements including many high-quality specialty Japanese gardening tools etc. As well as some other specialty tools such as window glaziers tools. FYI: They are no longer part of the True Value Hardware network so cannot accept True Value gift cards, in less purchased specifically at this location. They do still have their own customer rewards plan, so be sure to sign up for that!

I visited this store around August of 2024 and had no issues. I noticed that they had sheets of glass for sale, which is getting more difficult to find, so I asked the clerk some questions and kept it in mind for the next time I needed some. I needed 5-6 panes for a job, so I called to get sizing and availability. I was told they have what I need in stock regularly and it was no problem. I called again a week or so later (yesterday) to confirm and spoke to another employee who gave me the same/similar information. I did not ask about pricing, which was my mistake (I've bought glass like this from hardware stores multiple times for years and it was always pretty consistently priced). When I got there today it was immediately a problem, and 5-6 sheets was apparently way too much glass to buy from them at once (48"x48" sheets). Even worse it was going to be over $1,000 for the double strength (what I wanted) and over $500 for single strength (I could make it work). I was blown away as typical costs for these strength and sizes are $30-$40/sheet. I had driven over 50 miles one way specifically for this product based on the three conversations I had had with employees prior to this. I eventually found what I wanted at McLendon Hardware for $27.99/sheet (36"x30" double strength. They had plenty of larger and smaller sizes as well). I realize this is a "niche" complaint but it really messed me up, cost me time and money, and was very preventable. The manager (I assume) seemed to try a few things to help me but it was still going to cost $500-$1,000 to get what I needed, which is just crazy for standard glass panes. If you need glass just go to McLendon, they cut it to size for free, which is normal in my experience. Greenwood apparently charges (handsomely) for this simple and typical service. Overall it left a bad taste in my mouth, though there wasn't an issue with any person in particular, it just felt like they (the store) were grossly overcharging and offered poor and/or incomplete information. I would go back if needed but I would try other options first.
