I am so glad that I also signed on for the post-partum new mother package - there was nothing better than to have her calming presence following the birth to not only process the experience with her but also to have someone so sweetly give me a nurturing massage and draw a bath full of healing herbs. What a healing treat, I recommend everyone not to miss out on! Six months later, I still look back upon my birth experience with so much gratitude, grateful that I had such a great outcome with her guiding the delivery of our baby and grateful that I was able to have the birth experience I had hoped for.

We hired Heidi as our birthing doula and for some postpartum care and newborn photography! Highly recommend! Heidi was definitely the right choice for our family! Heidi's calm presence guiding us in prep and supporting us on the day of was invaluable. I felt such relief upon just seeing Heidi at our birthing center while I was in active labor. During pre-pushing, Heidi was able to guide me in such beautiful ways to breathe and focus on the moment. She supported my needs and helped me get comfortable as I moved around my birthing room. I felt constantly loved and cared for by her. She also guided my husband in how to best support me and helped maintain a calm presence in the birthing space. Having Heidi when we had to transfer to the hospital was the culmination point for being so glad we had a doula. She was the only consistent member of my care team from the birthing center to the hospital. She helped me remain calm and to keep still during my epidural (when my pain was so great (long story short, birth was pretty traumatic and my baby got stuck so we had to transfer to OHSU)). Of all the doulas I interviewed, Heidi was the only one with hospital experience and so having her during our unplanned transfer was the greatest thing that could have happened! She was also a huge comfort during my intense postpartum experience and being able to call and process things with her was such a gift. We also hired Heidi for a photoshoot which was awesome! She helped us pick outfits, navigated our newborns needs, and worked around us in our home to create beautiful pictures that we treasure! Heidi will forever be a part of our family's story and birth of my son - I couldn't be more grateful!
