Grove Scuba is by far the best scuba shop you can go to in the area. Not only is every employee a true professional, they can answer any naive questions a beginner like me could have without judgment. I got open water certified by David K. and I would not have had it any other way. From making sure I aced the learning material, to being available for any random questions, to helping me pick out the best gear for me without upselling, to actually training me, he is simply the best scuba teacher a person can ask for. When I was nervous he calmed me down and had a perfect mix of professionalism and fun throughout the whole course. If you are looking for a dive shop or scuba instructor, look no further. If you already have a favorite dive shop, get ready to change it.

Grove Scuba is a super dive operation offering advice, dive trips, and certifications. They are centrally located in Coconut Grove, Florida. My two adult kids and I have used them to obtain multiple certifications. All the dive instructors are excellent and knowledgeable, and we love to dive with Fuming. Even my non-diving wife is considering open water - that will be the day. We enjoy working with them enough that my adult daughter plans trips from Clearwater to Miami to certify with Grove Scuba - given how much we love the Caribbean, that's a big deal. Truth be told they love diving. On our last certification for "Rescue Diver" they showed us how to do "Frog Kicking" just because we asked. It's not even part of the course. We learned a lot on the photography course and included some of those pictures below. - The closeup of the Flamingo Tongue snail is cool (see photo) What they do right: - A solid and well-equipped dive shops - A good location that is near Miami Beach and the Keys - A photography section inside their store - Excellent instructors and an engaged office manager - An engaged owner who is great to speak with and share ideas - They offer trips to Palau, Asia, and Antarctica. - Their instructors can bring you from having no dive skills to being an expert. They offer competitive prices. I rather buy equipment there because it's the exact or nearly the same as the Internet. This way, I can get expert setup advice. Good advice. They are very flexible when it comes to figuring out schedules. Sometimes I stop by after work to figure out my next dive strategy and chat with the team. I'm always trying to determine what's next and the best approach. This probably drives them crazy because I'm just seeking information, but they are fantastic, and all the dive masters/instructors take the time to share their thoughts on various topics. For example, what's next for me, dive master or master diver or tec diving or rebreather - probably three trips to discuss? Who knows. Have fun and dive on!

Amazing experience in our scuba diving course! Both Davis were excelente instructors 👍🏽 Now we are certified! Best part, they have a dive club so you're not on your own in future adventures and you can get into this while socializing and sharing the hobbie, key for getting into something new Recommended 😁 Only note: Only English, I'm latin and thankfully I am advanced in English and i speak it fluently but it was challenging even so. So if you dont understand/speak English very well you will have a hard time

I whole heartedly recommend Grove Scuba for PADI Certification. Matt was our instructor this past weekend. He was very thorough in preparing us and patient in helping us learn scuba our skills. Our last day was two dives in Key Largo that were amazing! Thanks Grove Scuba and Matt!
