Watched Cal men's D1 gymnastics team compete against 2 other collegiate teams. The arena is likely used for many sports and is large. All spectators sit quite high above the competition floor, in comfortable seats with backs and armrests, behind a low wall with a safety railing on top. It's a unique perspective, especially for high and parallel bar events. It's very easy to change seats during a competition to get an optimum viewing experience for each apparatus. For gymnastics, none of the food concessions are open - bring your own beverage in a soft sided container and snacks. Restrooms are clean and plentiful. Haas Pavilion delivers a comfortable viewing experience for sports competitions.

January 2022: Came here to see Cal play UCLA in men's basketball on a Saturday. Was happy that UCLA won the game đ. Very comfortable arena. Sat in section 18 row 6 and the seats had soft bench seats. Concessions are pretty decent for a college arena. Grabbed a beer đș and was able to drink it while sitting in my seat! Overall, very nice arena to watch a basketball đ game.
