Both of my children had an absolutely magical experience at Hands On Art & Play. All of the teachers are so sweet and supportive. The owner, Teacher Jennifer, is able to handle even the most difficult situations with tremendous calm, reason, and grace, which is particularly perfect for preschool age kids. My kids are 6 and 9 now and they both still talk about how much they loved going here. I couldn't have asked for a better preschool.

Can't say enough wonderful things about the Hands On crew. Our kiddo attended two days a week since before she was three until she left for Kindergarten. She went from having pretty heartbreaking separation anxiety to running in the door / asking to go more often. Love that they are play-based. (Hard to find in the preschool world!) Her experience here gave her a huge head start in Kindergarten, and the teachers were such a wonderful group of caring, compassionate, and capable people. We were with them through the early days of the pandemic, and they handled that challenge with such grace. We still smile any time we drive past the building and my kiddo is 9 now.

We have been absolutely delighted our 4 year old son's experience at Hands On Art & Play. We put a LOT of thought and research into selecting a preschool, and felt very comfortable and confident with Hands On. There are multiple teachers present each day, and each teacher brings her own personality and strengths to the classroom. Every teacher is kind and engaging and involved with the students. Visiting speakers and musicians are scheduled every couple of weeks. Our son thoroughly enjoys the projects done in class, and loves his teachers. Kids have the option of participating in Dance, Yoga, or Spanish classes after class. Overall, an outstanding experience, and I would highly recommend Hands On Art & Play.

My daughter (went there when she was 3 during pandemic) did not have same experience at this school as other reviews express. Poor communication especially around important behavior issues when they arose. Never any follow up. After we switched schools my daughter’s engagement in school improved.

Both my girls went here and loved it. The teachers are so invested in the well being of the kids, and put together great projects that change throughout the year. We will miss Hands On terribly when our time here is done
