Special shoutout to some of the amazing instructors — BROYNY: Her playlists are 🔥🔥🔥 and she adds so much variety to the workouts! TEELA B: She constantly encourages you by reminding you that “you are a warrior”…I feel like I can kick down a brick wall after her class💪 DEREK: He always takes you on a journey in his classes with his positive energy, challenging classes, and great playlists! The themed classes are always my favorite to spice up the week (i.e. Beyonce class, west vs east coast, soulful sundays, etc). Highly recommend this black owned business! 🤎🤎

I found Harlem Cycle in summer 2023 when I started looking for an affordable workout class in my neighborhood with availability that would allow me to go before or after work. Two years and 100+ classes later, I’m extremely grateful for this community which has become a multiple-times-a-week staple in my routine. It is an ideal combination of a great workout coached by experienced instructors and a laid back, non-judgmental space. The workout is solid (good cardio, low impact for those with back/joint issues), the instructors are invested and fantastic (special shouts to Derek, Christina, Justice), the two studios are clean and well-ventilated (love the vibe of the smaller space on 138th and love being able to knock out groceries when I go to the bigger 125th space), and the community is strong.

Harlem cycle is the best cycling studio in NYC, period. There is no other place as welcoming, supportive, and nurturing to mental and physical well being that I’ve come across in NYC. I’ve experienced a class at both studios on 125th and 138th, and the vibes are always immaculate and the workouts are always just what you need! I frequent Anissa’s Hip Hop classes on Sundays and Mondays and is such an amazing class! The best instructor I’ve ever had for a spin class; always makes sure she knows everyone’s names, welcomes everyone, and always has an amazing playlist ready to give you a workout! There is no shortness of excellence in any of the instructors here and you definitely will not be going wrong to atrend any. Tammeca has created such a beautiful community in Harlem and I can’t wait to continue to see it flourish!

Took my first class with them via Power Plus Wellness and had such a nice experience! First, the space itself is so pretty and clean. There's a little shop area before you get to the bikes and it just had wonderful vibes. The class itself was tough but fun. The music was so helpful to keep me going to a certain beat. I had a difficult time managing the standing positions, but I think that was just me being unused to this type of workout and needing more practice. Warning: your butt will hurt for a few days if you're not used to the bike! Even with using a cushion! The instructor for the class was so positive and helpful. I liked the energy she brought and was very proud of myself when I realized I'd biked 6+ miles as a super newbie. I hope to come back to support local business, especially uptown fitness spots.
