Worst service we’ve had in New York. There was no one else at the bar so we sat down and we were completely ignored by the bartender, at one point he even walked off rather than serve us. Eventually caught his attention and he muttered a couple of words at us before putting the card machine in front of us. $40 for a small wine and 2 small beers. The drinks were great but the place is let down by poor service. Won’t be returning.

I've enjoyed Harlem Hops for years, in Harlem. Naturally, I was thrilled to see this special craft pour pub open on Pier 57 down in Chelsea. The selection is reliable and the view...looking out over the Hudson onto Little Island is second to none. An added benefit, and what draws me to this location over and over, is the service. Yvonne is the skilled hospitality Night Mistress of the Hops to ask for. Professional, Chilled and entirely Urbane. Your well taken care of if you request Yvonne. Cheers! : { )

Beer outpost in Pier 57. Decent tap list which can be served in 12 oz plastic and walkable thru the Pier and park upstairs. Don't recall seeing prices but about $10 per beer. Cans too in cold case and package goods. Lots of bad reviews about service, only 1 bartender that day but I can see it getting real busy when Pier 57 is packed.

Monday July 7th noon. opening bartender complained, (to me) that people were showing up for drinks as soon as the bar opened, as he served me a drink. My drink was great. came back for a second drink and the bartender was gone. waited. watched as half a dozen patrons came, waited and left because there wasn't a bartender. been waiting 20 minutes for the bartender to return.
